How do substitutions work in Baseball Max?

Modified on Mon, 19 Aug at 11:23 AM

What is the substitution process?

The substitution process is designed to be simple and intuitive, following these two primary steps:

  1. Identify the player to replace: Locate the player you wish to substitute in the lineup. Use the corresponding 'swap' button.
  2. Identify the replacement player: Choose the player who will take the place of the substituted player.

How do I know when a player can be substituted?

Whenever you see the 'swap' symbol next to a player, it indicates that the player is eligible for substitution. Please note that this availability can depend on the current state of the game.

When a player is at bat, only a Pinch Hitter may be substituted for the currently at-bat player.

What happens after I select the 'swap' function?

After you select the 'swap' function on a player, you will be presented with a list of valid player substitutions. From this list, you can select a replacement player, then confirm your choice to finalize the substitution.
